Armed with a super-suit with the astonishing ability to shrink in scale but increase in strength, cat burglar Scott Lang must embrace his inner hero and help his mentor, Dr. Hank Pym, plan and pull off a heist that will save the world.

Ant-Man | VFX Breakdown

Forced out of his own company by former protégé Darren Cross, Dr. Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) recruits the talents of Scott Lang (Paul Rudd), a master thief just released from prison. Lang becomes Ant-Man, trained by Pym and armed with a suit that allows him to shrink in size, possess superhuman strength and control an army of ants. The miniature hero must use his new skills to prevent Cross, also known as Yellowjacket, from perfecting the same technology and using it as a weapon for evil.

The latest film franchise culled from Marvel's comic-book universe packs a ton of fun into a teeny package.Rolling Stone

Stereo

After testing a number of looks the stereo team settled on a stylistic approach that complemented the photography. The team went about creating a tiny-scale camera in a huge environment, to really emphasise how alien the environment felt when everything is out of scale. In order to achieve this look, the team compressed the backgrounds and brought the characters forward in depth, out of the screen, so that everything seemed magnified in the background. The team further combined this with pumping up Ant-Man’s internal volume a little more, which served to miniaturise him further in this massive world.
