Ex Machina wins big at BIFA 2015

DNEG's Andrew Whitehurst brings home Outstanding Achievement in Craft Award

We are delighted to report that DNEG’s Andrew Whitehurst has has been presented with the 2015 Moet British Independent Film Awards (BIFA) honour for the visual effects in Ex Machina. DNEG’s work was recognised with the Outstanding Achievement in Craft Award at the ceremony which took place at London’s Old Billingsgate Market on Sunday night. Massive congratulations to Andrew and all our amazing crew, whose work helped make Ex Machina one of the standout movies of the year.

In total Ex Machina took home four prizes at this year’s BIFAs, including Best British Film, Best Director, Best Screenplay and Outstanding Achievement in Craft (Visual Effects). Here’s a reminder of our work on the movie:
