Key Purpose of the Job

Double Negative is looking for a talented programmer, who has an interest in working with databases and a passion for film, to join its expanding R&D team

Needs To Do

  • Develop in-house software for the digital post-production of major feature films
  • Work alongside Senior Programmers
  • Interface with teams of designers
  • Communicate and work well in a close-knit team environment to create exceptional work

Needs To Know

  • An excellent understanding of programming languages/techniques. Experience with Maya’s C++ API is advantageous
  • An avid interest in working with databases. Experience of SQL is advantageous
  • A pragmatic approach to solving complex programming/production issues
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
