Double Negative’s Pablo Giménez will be presenting at the 11th Annual Conference on Animation, VFX, Videogames and Digital Architecture, Mundos Digitales. The conference runs from 4th to 7th July in La Coruna, Spain, with Pablo’s talk taking place on Friday 6th at 4pm.

Pablo’s talk focuses on Snow White and The Huntsman and the development of digital creatures where the character is driven by FX.

Double Negative was commissioned to create the atmosphere for different scenes and the creatures for the final sequence. The main focus of the presentation will be how DNeg created the tools and technique to control thousands of obsidian shards and how they use forces and simulations to give life to a creature, rather than to destroy something.

Natalie Tidey, a member of our London team, will also be hosting a recruitment stand in the exhibition centre on Thursday and Friday. She will be available to discuss opportunities and answer any questions that you may have about our work and the company.

DNeg is currently working on some of the most exciting film projects at our studios in London and Singapore, including: The Bourne Legacy, Skyfall, Rush, Man of Steel, Captain Phillips and Les Miserables. Whether you’re an artist, editor, producer or programmer, we want to speak to you!
