The Reaping, directed by Stephen Hopkins and starring Hilary Swank, opened in the UK on April 13th, 2007. The Warner Bros production is a tense, psychological-thriller about a town, which appears to be the victim of biblical plagues. The film's VFX Supervisor, Richard Yurisich, turned to Double Negative to create the bulk of the visual effects, including a CG swarm of locusts.
