We’re thrilled to share that DNEG Animation’s David Prescott, SVP Creative Production and Kara Oropallo, VP of Training, Outreach, and Artistic Development, will be mentors at the 2021 Sony Talent League by THU.
Launched in 2020, the Sony Talent League by THU is a global challenge co-hosted by Trojan Horse was a Unicorn (THU) and Sony that aims to empower aspiring creators in the digital entertainment industry.
Open to creators between 18 and 25 years old, the initiative seeks to fund and support creative projects that explore the convergence of digital art with other creative fields, such as animation, music, film, games, VR, mixed media and more.
David and Kara will be lending their talents to the challenge as industry mentors. Joining a line-up of esteemed creators and industry veterans, David and Kara will help to guide finalists towards creative empowerment whilst workshopping their ideas over a 10-week mentorship program. Finalists will then have a chance to win funding and a full-ride to the next THU event.
