We are delighted that both Dunkirk and Blade Runner 2049 have been nominated in the ‘Best Special Visual Effects’ category for the EE BAFTAs 2018.
A big congratulations to Overall VFX Supervisor Andrew Jackson who led on Dunkirk, to DNEG Dunkirk VFX Supervisor Andy Lockley, and to DNEG VFX Supervisor Paul Lambert who led our Blade Runner 2049 team.
And of course massive congratulations to our amazing crews on both shows.
Both films were nominated in multiple categories, including a ‘Best Film’ nod for Dunkirk and well-deserved ‘Best Director’ nominations for both Chris Nolan and Denis Villeneuve.
The winners will be announced at the BAFTA Awards Ceremony on Sunday 18th February, and you can find more information about all the nominations here.
