We’re excited to share that our DNEG team received three awards at the 2023 VAM Summit, which took place in Mumbai last week.
Hosted by AnimationXpress, the ‘VFX and More’ (VAM) Summit & Awards brings together industry veterans from VFX and related industries to discuss trends, technologies, developments and policies.
In addition to hosting panels, discussions and networking events, the VAM Summit also features an Awards Ceremony that recognizes outstanding achievements in the visual effects industry. This year, our DNEG team was delighted to receive recognition with three award wins:

In addition to the Awards Ceremony, the VAM Summit featured our DNEG talent in two thought-provoking events.
First up, Sameet Gupte (Head of Environment of DNEG India) took part in a panel titled ‘The Art of Filmmaking with VFX’. During this event, Sameet and other industry veterans discussed the importance of directors, producers, and the production team thoroughly understanding VFX and effectively incorporating it into the pre-production stage.
The next day, Jaykar Arudra (DNEG VFX Supervisor) spoke to audiences about his award-winning work on Brahmastra. Sharing his experience navigating the technical and creative challenges of bringing ‘The Astraverse’ to life, he provided valuable insights into the complete production process, from the initial concept stages to the final delivery.
