Multi-award winning VFX Supervisor, DNEG Co-Founder and Creative Director Paul Franklin confirmed as Director for new action-thriller Resurface.
Recently announced in Variety, Paul Franklin will direct “Resurface”, a science fiction feature film which involves a scientist and an engineer trapped 35,000 feet underwater after an earthquake.
“Paul Franklin is the perfect director to immerse audiences in this ambitious and unique underwater adventure” says Todd Garner, Broken Road Productions CEO.
Famed for his iconic work on the Dark Knight Trilogy, Inception and Interstellar (winning the Academy Award both for Inception and Interstellar), Paul helped co-found Double Negative in 1998 and is DNEG’s Creative Director.
