For ‘The Art of Racing in the Rain’, the DNEG VFX team was tasked with a variety of effects work across 285 shots which involved adding reflections and backgrounds to bluescreen car photography, inserting race cars into existing plates, augmentation of dog performances, enhancement of background plates, water effects, and a dancing toy zebra.
