DNEG worked on episode 9 and 10 of Netflix’s ‘Locke & Key’. We were tasked to create and work within a magical environment in key sequences across the final two episodes of the series. The team worked closely with the client VFX supervisor to bring to life an intangible creative vision of the characters and this magical but dangerous world. The CFX, build, FX, lighting and Comp teams were challenged with integrating magical FX, digi-double and CG character into live-action plates. The final goals were to blend the live action and visual effects seamlessly, to help tell the story whilst maintaining the consistency of the look and feel across all of the shots.
