Warm sunshine; food sizzling on a BBQ; ice cubes clinking into refreshing drinks – all of this can mean only one thing: it’s DNEG Summer Party time!
Over the last couple of weeks we held the DNEG Summer Parties for Vancouver and London.
We’re supporting good causes
As well as being enjoyable events for everyone (check out the photos below) our Summer Parties are a golden opportunity to fundraise for charities, with 100% of the proceeds from the ticket sales for the London party going to UNICEF.
Vancouver
Earlier in July, our teams in Vancouver gathered with their guests at the Dr Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Garden for a day of summer celebrations. Located in Vancouver’s Chinatown, the Taoist-style garden is first Chinese or “Scholars” garden built outside of China. Fine food, music, a scavenger hunt, face painting, photo booth and a balloon modeller ensured everyone – children and adults – got into the party mood.
London
Meanwhile last Saturday, around 500 DNEG staff, family and friends filled the grounds of Regent’s University, located in the historic Regent’s Park, near our UK headquarters.
It was a great opportunity to catch up with friends over a drink, and meet partners and kids. And for those undeterred by the heat, there was the chance to be more active by taking part in a range of traditional sports day-style events, including Egg & Spoon Races, Tug O’ Wars and a Scavenger Hunt.
