Welcoming Janek Sirrs to DNEG

OSCAR-WINNING VFX SUPERVISOR JOINS DNEG’S CREATIVE TEAM

We’re excited to announce that Academy Award and BAFTA-winning VFX Supervisor Janek Sirrs has joined DNEG in Los Angeles!

Bringing over three decades of industry experience to his new role at DNEG, Janek is a noted Production VFX Supervisor with credits on Marvel shows such as Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Spider-Man: Far from Home, Spider-Man: Homecoming, and The Avengers, as well as on shows with DNEG such as Terminator Genisys, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, Iron Man 2, Batman Begins and Mission: Impossible II.

In 2000, he received the Academy Award® and a BAFTA for Best Special Visual Effects for his work on The Matrix, and has been nominated for two further Academy Awards® for his work on The Avengers and Iron Man 2, as well as two further BAFTA nominations for his work on The Avengers and Batman Begins.

 
Talking about his new role, Janek said:
