DNEG at ASWF Open Source Days 2022

Creative Director Chas Jarrett discusses xSTUDIO

Our talented tech team was at this year’s ASWF Open Source Days event!

We were thrilled to attend this year’s Open Source Days 2022 earlier this month, hosted by the Academy Software Foundation!

Presenting to nearly 250 in attendance during the Review and Approval Working Group session, our DNEG Creative Director Chas Jarrett gave an update on DNEG’s in-house playback and review application xSTUDIO.

A modern, flexible and feature-rich playback application designed to meet the needs of filmmakers throughout the production process, xSTUDIO is part of the Academy Software Foundation’s Open Review initiative and will be open-sourced to the wider filmmaking community later this year.
