Routes into Industry – Panel and Q&A

Dara McGarry, Outreach Director at DNEG Animation will be joining the panel to talk about breaking into the industry and thriving once you’re in! Join her and the other panellists as they share invaluable advice on networking, reel updates, and essential career practices. This will be a great opportunity to learn about the different routes and opportunities available directly from industry insiders.
You can also catch Dara on Thursday, February 22 from 11 AM – 12 PM as she moderates a discussion with Jane Wu, Producer/Supervising Director of Blue Eyed Samurai, titled ‘“You Draw Pretty Good for a Girl” – Finding My Own Voice in a Male Dominated Industry’; and get a behind the scenes look at Oscar and VES nominated, Nimona, as Troy Quane, Director, dives deeper into the making of the film from 4:30 – 5:30 PM. Meet the Speaker!
Dara McGarry is Outreach Director at DNEG Animation in London. Over her career, Dara held many different roles from production, to artist and management, and even voiced characters in movies like Meet the Robinsons and Frozen.
