We’re extremely proud to share that Nimona has been nominated for ‘Best Animated Feature’ at the 2024 Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences Awards!

Annie Awards Nominations
Honouring excellence in the field of animation, we’re so proud to see that Nimona has received 9 Annie Award nominations – the most of any other films this year!
Nominations include ‘Best Feature’, ‘Best Character Design – Feature’, ‘Best Direction – Feature’, ‘Best Production Design – Feature’, ‘Best Storyboarding – Feature’, ‘Best Voice Acting – Feature’, ‘Best Writing – Feature’, ‘Best Editorial – Feature’, and a ‘Best Character Animation – Feature’ nomination for DNEG Animation’s own Lead Animator Toby Seale.
Huge congratulations to the whole Nimona crew! We’ll be crossing our fingers at the 51st Annual Annie Awards ceremony, scheduled for February 17th!
