Located in Burbank right next to Hollywood, our Los Angeles studio is our connection to the US TV and Film industry

The L.A. Facility

Our L.A. studio is located in Burbank right next to Hollywood. It’s just a short drive to the Hollywood and Highland entertainment complex, where you’ll find ‘opening night’ movie premieres, restaurants, shopping and the Dolby Theatre, where the annual Academy Awards are held.

Getting to the studio is easy – whether by train, car or bicycle. Our staff ride their bikes to work, take the Metro or bus (the nearest bus stop is just a 4-minute walk) and, of course, drive to the studio.

Each day, our 20-person team creates stunning visual effects for TV shows and films you’ve probably seen recently. We’ll grab lunch and sit outside or take a walk to the numerous restaurants close by and enjoy another day of sunny southern California.

Life at DNEG Los Angeles

Even though everyone at our L.A. studio works hard at delivering the best VFX in television and film, you can still feel the laid-back West Coast vibe the minute you step inside the studio. We like to have fun, while working hard! Whether it’s having lunch together or walking to a local bar, pub or hotel for Happy Hour, the LA team has tremendous respect for each other’s expertise, skills and creativity and enjoy spending time together – inside and outside of the studio.

The City of Los Angeles is the cultural, financial and commercial center of Southern California.

The second most populous city in the United States (after New York City), L.A. is home to 3.9 million people, and 18.7 million people reside in the L.A. metro area. Located in a large coastal basin surrounded on three sides by mountains reaching up to and over 10,000 feet (3,000 m), L.A.is known for its Mediterranean climate, ethnic diversity and sprawling metropolis!

Los Angeles is not only the heart of the film and television industry, but the entertainment capital of the world, with more museums and theatres than any other city in the U.S., making it the perfect place to be immersed in arts and culture.

From tourist attractions like Universal Studios to career opportunities like those presented in the expanding tech industry, living in L.A. is a chance to live and work where others would love to vacation.
