Academy Award-winning filmmaker shares 'Frankenstein' insights as part of DNEG's INSPIRE Series.
We were thrilled to host legendary filmmaker Guillermo del Toro at DNEG London this week!
Joining us as part of DNEG's INSPIRE Series, Guillermo del Toro took us behind the scenes of his latest film, Frankenstein.
Moderated by Andrew Schlussel, (Senior Director, Training & Development, DNEG Animation) Guillermo spent the majority of the session taking questions from our team, where he shared inspirations and production secrets, touched on the balance of adapting a classic novel for a modern audience, and gave insights into the challenges faced.
Following the session, Guillermo joined us for a reception where he met members of our crew - and even signed an autograph or two!
This is the second time we've been lucky enough to host the acclaimed filmmaker in London for our INSPIRE Series, following his Pinocchio session back in 2022.
