'Skeleton Crew' and 'Time Bandits' both nominated for 'Outstanding Visual Effects' at the Children's and Family Emmy Awards!

Both Skeleton Crew and Time Bandits have been nominated for 'Outstanding Visual Effects for a Live Action Program' at this year's Children's and Family Emmy Awards!
Skeleton Crew
Led by DNEG VFX Supervisor Chris McLaughlin, our VFX team was tasked with delivering complex work across three episodes. We created several large-scale CG environments, including decayed cities and the futuristic industrial-scale mint, creature animation on the elephantine character Neel, and a dramatic spacecraft landing!

Time Bandits
As the lead VFX partner on Time Bandits, our Episodic team, led by Jelmer Boskma, crafted over 1000 shots across all 10 of the series' episodes. Our work focused primarily on the various environments throughout the show, including crafting the historic settings of the Mayan village and Arctic Neanderthal settlements, as well as the fantastical Sky Citadel and the Fortress of Darkness! We also helped bring to life several complex CG characters and FX enhancements, including the Supreme Being, Kevin’s magical bedroom transformation and adventurous slide through the kaleidoscope corridor, and Pure Evil’s magical effects.
