Death In Paradise - Season 11

DNEG was thrilled to bring DI Humphrey Goodman’s beloved reptilian friend, Harry the Lizard, to life for Season 11 of BBC’s ‘Death in Paradise’.

Our VFX team was tasked with creating a photoreal, fully CG creature asset for Harry. While the lizard needed to interact with the live action characters throughout the series, it was important that he wasn’t anthropomorphic in character. Our teams needed to find a balance in the character animation that allowed Harry to react to the live action whilst still retaining his undomesticated animal characteristics.
