We look forward to hearing from you!
Creature TD (CFX Artist)
Creature TDs at DNEG are integral to the development of animation and simulation rigs for creatures, digital doubles, vehicles, props and the subsequent simulations. You will find technical and creative solutions to develop high quality rigs and simulations according to the needs of the production.
Environment Generalist TD
Environment Generalist TDs at DNEG are passionate about problem solving and collaboration. In joining our dynamic team of multi-talented artists, you will be able to utilise and develop your diverse skill set. Our artists develop efficient methodologies and workflows for producing cutting-edge environments on the highest calibre feature film projects. Environment Generalist TDs should have a range of skills in 3D and 2.5D. Your work may include modelling, texturing, look development, lighting and re-projection, and requires you to make smart creative and technical decisions on a day-to-day basis.
Facial Modellers at DNEG use a wide range of reference and source materials, including photography and photogrammetry, to construct Facial Models and Blend shapes for use in high-end characters, creatures and digi-doubles. You will work very closely with the Rigging team and Animation Director and use your knowledge of FACS to create physically plausible face shapes for creatures and virtual actors as well as using your keen eye to create correct facial and neck shapes for use in our pose-space deformation system.
Groom TDs at DNEG create believable hair, fur, and feather grooms for characters and environments on high-end VFX film projects. You will be a part of our Build department but will be working closely with Creature TDs regarding the requirements for their workflow. You will also work closely with the modelling, rigging and lookdev teams to ensure the best quality work is being produced at all times.
Production Coordinators at DNEG aid the smooth running of high end VFX feature film projects by supporting the production and supervision team, ensuring an accurate and efficient flow of information. You will be responsible for ensuring that artists understand their schedule of work, relaying information back to the production and supervision team, coordinating the flow of information and elements between artists and departments. This role needs you to be efficient in maintaining databases with current element and shot statuses, in coordinating dailies and taking detailed notes, and ensuring the flow of materials to and from the client.
