We’re delighted to announce the arrival of three new VFX Supervisors, who join our stellar creative leadership team in London.
Meet our new (and familiar) faces below!
Anelia Asparuhova
Anelia joins us as a VFX Supervisor from MPC, where she’s held the role of VFX Supervisor as well as DFX and Asset Supervisor. Anelia’s credits include Maleficent: Mistress of Evil, Underwater, and Aquaman.
Anelia said: “I’m thrilled to have joined such an accomplished and progressive studio as DNEG, and I’m looking forward to the exciting new shows and challenges we’ll fulfill together!”
David Lee
David, who re-joins DNEG as VFX Supervisor, has some impressive credits under his belt including Tenet – in fact, he was one of DNEG’s Academy Award-winners earlier this year! We’re delighted to welcome him back. Prior to his time at DNEG, David enjoyed an illustrious career with over 15 years of experience as a Compositor and Lead Compositor, working on titles such as World War Z, Man of Steel, and The Hunger Games: Catching Fire.
David said: “I’m enjoying being back at DNEG, and am looking forward to working with such a talented bunch of people again. Not to mention bringing out the best in some hardcore shark action on my current project, The Meg 2…”
Aleksandar Pejic
Aleks re-joins DNEG with over two decades of experience and a seriously impressive filmography. Beginning his career in VFX with DNEG, Aleks contributed to shows such as Children of Men, The Dark Knight and Inception before leaving to explore new avenues at Cinesite and Framestore. With more recent credits including The Witcher, Space Jam: A New Legacy, and Avengers: Infinity War, we’re delighted that Aleks is returning to where he began his career all those years ago!
Aleks said: “Being away from DNEG for over a decade feels like I just got back from a trip abroad, and the feeling of familiarity is overwhelming. I’m looking forward to seeing some of the old faces I haven’t seen in such a long time, and meeting the new people who have done all this amazing work over the past decade!”
