Painting A Universe: Exploring the Look of Entergalactic

Join DNEG Animation’s creative team behind Entergalactic as they explain how they achieved this project’s incredibly stylized look by bending the rules of the CG animation pipeline. Learn about how every aspect of the look – from shader development to animation performance to compositing – had to be orchestrated in unison to create the feeling of stepping into a painting.

Developed during Unreal Engine’s Spring 2022 Unreal Fellowship. Bernhard’s short is playing as part of the SHORT FILMS AFTER DARK segment, exploring the dark, edgy side of animation with a selection of must-see films for fans of adult animation!
